Scraplets

Scraplets are tiny metal-eating pests. They move in swarms and nest inside ore and metal blocks, and they’ll go after anything made of metal.

Stats

Senses Transformers through walls 12 blocks

Where they live

Section titled “Where they live”
  • Swarms nest underground, about 1 in every 16 chunks.
  • They hide in ore and metal blocks (see Scraplet-infested blocks).
  • Wild Scraplets don’t despawn, and they keep eating and breeding even while you’re not around.

Drops

Section titled “Drops”

Kill one and it drops 1 to 3 nuggets: Gold Nuggets if it nests in gold, Iron Nuggets otherwise. It drops one extra for every 16 points of metal it’s eaten, up to 4 extra. There’s also a 1 in 5 chance it drops 1 or 2 Amethyst Shards. Looting increases both.
