Dark Energon hunger

Terrorcons live off Dark Energon and they always want more. When one isn’t fighting, it’ll look for Dark Energon in this order:

  1. Loose shards. Dark Energon items lying on the ground within 48 blocks.
  2. Your storage. Chests and other containers within 32 blocks with Dark Energon in them. It opens them up and takes it.
  3. Crystals. It breaks Dark Energon crystals within 32 blocks to harvest them (only if mobGriefing is on).

Whatever it finds goes into its stash.

Terrorcons are also drawn to every Dark Energon block within 32 blocks: lit Dark Energon Lamps, Dark Energon Lights, Blocks of Dark Energon, Budding Dark Energon, crystals and Cubes or Batteries holding Dark Energon. They walk over and hang around it for a while without breaking anything. If they can’t reach it, like a lamp up on a ledge, they wait underneath it instead.

Lit Dark Energon Lamps and Dark Energon Lights pull harder than anything else. A Terrorcon heads for the nearest one over any other Dark Energon, and once it gets there it stays put and stops digging and wandering. It only leaves to go after other Dark Energon it senses, a player within 4 blocks or something that attacks it, and then it heads straight back. A lamp that’s switched off doesn’t draw them at all, and turning one off lets any Terrorcons around it go, so lamps are a good way to keep Terrorcons in one place.

Their hunger also beats their fear of Tox-En. Terrorcon Cliffjumpers normally run from Tox-En, but they’ll still go after Dark Energon with Tox-En right next to it, even though being near it hurts them.

If a Terrorcon is hurt and has been left alone for 10 seconds (no target, nothing hitting it), it stops to eat from its stash. Each shard heals 12 health.

Kill it and it drops its whole stash, including whatever it stole from your chests.
